Music Industry to Unveil Amnesty Offer

Posted by geeknews at 8:49 AM on September 5, 2003

Ohhhhhhh please the RIAA can just go and bite me. Easy for me to say as I have never used a file sharing program. But I wonder how many people are going to bow down and run with there tails between there legs and actually sign a Affidavit saying ya I shared files and I am going to delete them all of my computer and promise to never do this again.

Anyone want to take any bets. I bet they get less than a 100,000 people to sign there admission of guilt form. They will probably take all of the affidavits to Washington and say see how many people where not going to sue.

Ridiculous Ridiculous Ridiculous. Day Late Dollar short the damage has already been inflicted and the music industry is finished as they know it. [Yahoo]

I was having a similar conversation with my girlfriend the other day. About how the record industry is making money these days with file sharing via Kazaa and all that. Needless to say, what is the point of admiting guilt when almost everyone has taken part in it?
