From time to time I get well meaning comments from users commenting on my utilization of the English language I want to comment on it briefly so that all of you understand my perspective.
Obviously I am not a professional writer by trade, the job that keeps food on my families table is a techie job working with Electronics. My love affair with computers and technology started nearly 18 years ago and has kept me intrigued as technology continues to advance at a rapid pace.
I am a Geek and Geeks sometimes write no better than most doctors and I am no exception so when you cringe or scratch your head at a entry or incorrect utilization of a word just remember i’m a geek publishing this site for fun and paying for the bandwidth ya all keep making me increase We will do our best to find the articles that keep you coming back and hopefully in time my writing skills will become flawless and you all will not have to comment. But until then I am going to keep digging around for what I think are articles that you all like. I must be doing something partially correct as nearly 75,000 of you are visiting the site every day.
Thanks for the comments and making Geek News Central a daily reading stop. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

Heh. I get these same comments all the time. Don’t worry about them. They’re just people with chips on their shoulders trying to get a rise out of you. Call them the language trolls or the frustrated English teachers and move on.
I’ve noticed one very interesting trend: if people want to honestly point out a typo or mistake, they contact me politely via email or the feedback form on Techdirt. I usually thank those people and correct the typo. If they want to make a snide comment, they do it publicly, to make them feel superior.
My favorite, though, was the wonderful person who pointed out a very very very obscure grammatical error – and got it *wrong* themselves – and then suggested that I was illiterate, for not writing things the wrong way.
I just laugh them off. Don’t let them bother you.
