		<description>Heh.  I get these same comments all the time.  Don&#039;t worry about them.  They&#039;re just people with chips on their shoulders trying to get a rise out of you.  Call them the language trolls or the frustrated English teachers and move on.

I&#039;ve noticed one very interesting trend: if people want to honestly point out a typo or mistake, they contact me politely via email or the feedback form on Techdirt. I usually thank those people and correct the typo.  If they want to make a snide comment, they do it publicly, to make them feel superior.

My favorite, though, was the wonderful person who pointed out a very very very obscure grammatical error - and got it *wrong* themselves - and then suggested that I was illiterate, for not writing things the wrong way.

I just laugh them off.  Don&#039;t let them bother you.
