Spirit scheduled to land on Mars Jan 3

Everyone has there fingers crossed and hopefully Spirit will have better success landing on the Red Planet than the last couple of tries. Sending a probe that far and hoping it will land by itself in one piece is always a gamble we will be keeping our fingers crossed. [Bloomberg.com]
