Unlock password protected word files

Microsoft is going to take another spanking seems there is a hack out to remove passwords from word documents. I personally use PGP as I have never trusted Microsoft’s password protection. [www.securityfocus.com]

I need to open a password protected document. How do I do that? Make it easy instruction as I am not computer literate. Thanks!
