Complaints are up 45% from the previous year to the FTC over Identity Theft. The problem continues to grow with very little legislative action. All it will take is for some Senator to have his life stolen from him with someone opening up credit accounts and buying Adult materials under the assumed name. If you don’t currently use a service to monitor your credit reports and inform you when someone is making queries on the accounts you need to do so. [eWeek]
