The making of a File Sharing IP Mask

Posted by geeknews at 1:58 AM on February 12, 2004

A programmer got so pissed at the RIAA for their antics that he has developed a program that mask users IP address from the prying eyes of the RIAA. AnonX is a more a service as you use AnonX servers as a proxy and they do not pass on the individuals source IP. They say they have ways to prevent those seeking child porn to be blocked. But I think the real value of this is that a person can surf anonymously. [SecurityFocus]
