I get in my inbox on a daily basis a dozen or so pitches from companies looking to have their product pitched. My response always is send me the item and let me keep it and I will write up a review. The software guys are happy to do this, but not the hardware people. I guess we don’t have a big enough readership to warrant being given hardware to test.
I am not surprised others are getting the same pitches. I would be interested in seeing if anyone is scoring any cool hardware. After all if I am going to pitch a product you can be sure I have used it and will be giving you all the plus and minuses of the product in question. [Loosewire]
