Employers scrambling to get mobile phones that track employees

Imagine you are issued a mobile phone for your work and as you travel in the field the home office periodically check’s on your location. Or worse yet you stop to get a soda and a bag of chips and the establishment you go into is in a companies off limits list. Thus once you return to the office you become subject to disciplinary action or your fired. Think this is far fetched. Well it isn’t and the technology is here today to allow employers to do just that. [ZDNet]
