We are happy to announce the realization of a goal of mine to run our own server side seeder for our Podcast feeds. This puts us in control of the feed and we no longer have to utilize third party services.
This is being accomplished with the pre-release of the newest BlogTorrent application. With the seeding portion being in beta I am sure it isn’t a 100% but in the first 12 hours of running it we have been pretty happy.
Those of you getting podcast from us that have subscribed to the .torrent feed need to update your podcatcher clients to pull from this URL http://www.geeknewscentral.com/torrent/rss.php
