Folks this is Major, this is a huge victory for consumers fair use. You know I have been advocating your intervention with lawmakers and support of the EFF and others who were fighting the fight to stop the broadcast flag.
I am sure this is round one as the MPAA and others will continue to fight to have something added. But this stay of execution means we will not being seeing hardware being built with the broadcast flag specification incorporated into new computers, TV and other devices. [Dan Gillmor]
