The harder I try to dig myself out the farther behind I fall. Over the past few days I have received over 1400 e-mails and nearly half of them deserve a response. Lets see what do I have going on in my life, a new book published, podcast awards management, setting up deals at techpodcasts.com, working the phones, managing new clients at podcast connect, producing two shows a week, going to college, wow yes I am busy. If outlook did not have rules I would be totally screwed.
I nearly missed writing a interview into my schedule for some reason that e-mail went MIA and I caught mention of it on a mailing list thank goodness. Nothing like not being available for a interview that would have been real bad.
Did someone say I need a assistant. Yes I do but that person would take 6 months to get trained and I probably would fire them for not wanting to work 20 hours a day. Ahhh the life of being part of something exciting. Lets see will things slow down any next month. Hmm I don’t think so but I guess it’s better to be busy than setting around twiddling my thumbs.
Seriously though if any of you have found the magic utility to save your life from e-mail hell please send me a message. Also if I have not responded to you in 36 hours from the time you sent me a e-mail you better pick up the phone I can get more done in a 2 minute phone call then a ping pong game of e-mail tag.
