Update: The folks at Libsyn have added a function were you now can enter your primary RSS feed. Great job guys!
Libsyn has released a OPML directory with a listing of what appears most of their customers listed. I noticed one thing when I looked at it they are publishing their own RSS files and not those that correspond to many of their clients primary RSS feed.
The need to remedy this and allow their customers to enter the default RSS feed that they point all of their subscribers to. This is the same trouble that others have gotten into.

They have also failed to add the ‘type’ attribute and distinguish between xmlUrl and htmlUrl for feed and site.

I did a quick search and replace though, and added the node to my ALL NEW Bluggcaster
now OPML powered: http://blugg.com/caster
cheers todd!

Todd, can you explain why Libsyn shouldn’t point to the feeds that are on their own site? I’m sure that this OPML is used for some “internal” purpose at Libsyn, too. Even their on-site directory points to the pages on “their site”. Should they change all of those, too?
Hey Todd and gang,
Just letting you guys know that we have a fix in there now that allows for external feeds. Please check it out and let us know if it does the trick. Also, Hey Kosso thanks for getting us in the Bluggcaster. I forwarded your comments to Marty who created the directory, he wasn’t quite sure what you meant regarding the ommissions. Love to pick your brain sometime. skype: tacomancini
