hehehe mentined my post on his blog..... Thing is i would love it if you guys made it more noticeable that it can be made private...... My question is why would i use your feed if i have my own anyways.... You have to have a pre-existing feed to use the service.

Feedburner has had some major issues on our end this morning. The stats were all messed up. Upon speaking with FeedBurner, they told us that the problem existed because they were moving around/changing things on their end. Interesting.

Hi there. Actually, you're absolutely right: we don't poll all 100,000 feeds every 30 minutes. We only poll the source feed on demand: if we receive a request for the burned feed AND it has been more than 30 minutes since we last retrieved the source feed, then we'll hit the source feed again. The upshot is that for feeds without many subscribers, you may see a polling period more than 30 minutes ... but it's only because no one has requested it. And if a burned feed has no subscribers, then we don't poll the source feed at all. Kind of a tree falls in the forest thing.
<span class="mt-export2wp"></span>
Thank you for letting me clarify that.
