Verizon apparently sends 200 Fake Faxes to Government Officials

Seems a few Verizon officials are running scared after sending over 200 fake faxes to a Mayors office in an attempt to make the mayor think people wanted more competition in the cable industry. Seems the mayor was surprised by the volume and even more surprised when they all came from the same number. [Techdirt]
