You Tube Caps Video Lengths

Posted by todd at 1:45 PM on March 29, 2006

Well if you are a user of YouTube you probably enjoy the funny videos that are uploaded. It seems that they are going to limit the lengths to 10 minutes to try and curb the copyright violations that are happening. But I wonder if part of this decision is also based on bandwidth concerns? I know that we have been doing the math on how much video is going to cost us to deliver, I thought Audio was bad but oh man video is significantly worse. [ArsTechnica]
