I had a hunch Amazon was going to start podcasting, while I was at the Consumer Electronic Show I had dinner with the folks from Wiley publishing my book’s publisher. At that dinner I was seated next to Pat Kearney from Amazon. He was part of the editor team that selected my book as a “Best Book of 2005“, he and I talked quite a bit about podcasting and I got the feeling they were up to something.
Pat understands the power of the medium and I hope that my book, and our conversations somehow influenced Amazon to start their podcast it’s called Amazon Wire hosted by Pat, it will be a monthly podcast that covers interviews with Authors, Artist, Film Creators and I am sure a host of other cool people.
