I've been with Dreamhost since very nearly the beginning (at least nine years). They're a quirky company, with their share of hiccups (they're no Interland or GoDaddy), but I've always been happy with them and refer my friends to them regularly. I wouldn't know about their bandwidth, though - as soon as my podcasts/video podcasts started picking up, I moved the media files to Libsyn.

I have been a customer for a few months now. While they may not be the greatest, they are a solid performer. Todd, Skype me if you want to ask me some questions. I should already be on your skype list.

Dreamhost has been around since 1996, so you don't have to worry about them going away any time soon. I use them, and I am real happy with their service. They are always adding features every month and their support system is great. They ask you what your level of knowledge is for the topic your getting support for, it ranges from "Please explain everything to me very carefully" to "Not to be rude, but I probably know more about this than you!".
They seem "happy" all the time, those who are hosted by them, you know what I'm talking about.

I've been with DreamHost for over two years and have been very happy with them. Their support response time isn't as amazing as it once was, but it's still much better than what I experienced with other providers in the past. It's also hard to beat a hosting plan that increases disk space and bandwidth every week. One caveat, I don't require a huge amount of bandwidth (although I am hosting several WordPress installations and a couple wikis).
