It is utterly ridiculous to put so much faith in one company. I hope they do well but what happened if there site went dark today and never came back what would the impact be. <span class="mt-export2wp"></span> I pay for hosting, a domain and that is the extent of my monthly cost to maintain this blog why do I want to pay someone a sum of money for something that should be built into the basic application and does not cost me another penny. <span class="mt-export2wp"></span> It's your company and your customers decision to proceed how they should but you should at least educate people on the cautions that should be associated with using a third party service for the lifeblood of ones rss feed.
