I&#039;m no huge conspiracy theory guy but it seems pretty obvious to me. AT&amp;T has played nice and rolled over for the government when they want things like wire taps etc. Also if all the eggs are in one basket it makes it easier to talk to one point of contact to gather information. Plus one big company has more lobbying power to umm shall we say financially support legislation......
