Sandia National Labs Melts Diamond!

There are a lot of smart people at Sandia National Labs, and the science that they do is pretty important to this country. I was not surprised when I read today that they had melted a diamond into a puddle. Knowing that melting a diamond is not something that is done everyday, I was intrigued to see what they were up to.
