Sorry for the difficulty with submitting podcasts to Digg. We’ve fixed a number of bugs already this week, and we’re fixing more all the time. As noted, Digg Podcasts is a beta feature, so please be patient while we work out the kinks.

It’s a shame that Digg didn’t think of offering this up as a beta first so that all the kinks could be worked out. Oh wait a minute… This is a beta.

Why not wait until it’s fully released before dumping on it?

Todd, I ran into the same issue you had until I reread the instructions: “Then enter the RSS feed for the podcast in the space above, or enter the url of the page with the feed.” I tried the second method of just entering my URL of my page and it works. Go figure.

I believe digg can’t handle linking to direct RSS XML files. Kinda sucks, but I believe that’s the problem.

1) The point is I can add some podcasts that are valid and can't add others that are also valid. I was able to add my podcast and not Todd's. 2) Any of the shows that I submitted today around 10 a.m. have yet to be added. While others have been added since then. So there is someone moderating the adding process. I don't mind the moderation to check for validity or for special conditions, but Accident Hash and Michael and Evo's Wingin' It are not small podcasts.

They are in beta. Give them time.

Technically they are beta testing the Podcast section, so while your troubles are frustrating, I'm not so sure it's unsatisfactory. If they were in full production that would be one thing, but I would suggest reporting your bug at http://www.digg.com/bugreport I think this is a really awesome feature, and an exciting way to incorporate the "Digg system" into Podcasting medium. I'm extremely excited to see this as a new opportunity to discover new Podcasts.
