More Bell Fodder

As mentioned a few days ago the merger of AT&T and Bell South was approved. Part of that merger has AT&T gaining full control of Cingular Wireless. The back and forth history of Cingular goes on for years but I have to wonder what AT&T was thinking roughly 2 years ago when they sold AT&T wireless to Cingular. Did they know they would plan to buy it all back? I had AT&T wireless at the time and I was very disappointed when they were sold. As a customer it was a major pain during the transition not knowing where to find account data and make payments. Well, here we go again. Cingular will be changing its name to AT&T Wireless. Luckily I’m not with either carrier at the moment.
