It is no surprise that Cisco has sued Apple for Trademark Infringement on the iPhone. I talked about this in detail on a past post and also in my podcast. Apple should not be surprised as Apple themselves has been pretty reactive to other companies in sending out cease and desist letters to companies that they think are infringing.
This is going to be a very ugly battle but my prediction on how this will fall out is that Apple is going to have to pony up to the bar.
