In my mind, anyone who's used MySpace at all should really appreciate Facebook's cleaner interface.

I guess it depends on what you think the site is good for. I decided to setup an account a few months back with no real intention of doing anything with it. It's since turned into a big reunion of people i have not seen in years. The experience is similar for other freinds of mine.

So i find it good for that. And other than that, it would probably just be a time waster.

Well, if MySpace never tickled your fancy, there's a chance Facebook would similarly be uninteresting.

Still, in the social network space, you have to admit, Facebook is infinitely cleaner, easier to use, stable, and less obnoxious. Further, the "Facebook Platform" is letting pretty much every other web service plug right in... making for a nice portal for collecting, sharing, and promoting all sorts of things. Flickr, Digg, Del.icio.us...

Actually, come to think of it, there isn't a podcasting app there yet. There should be. Being the first could put you on the (social network) map! Just look what the "Facebook Platform" did for iLike, versus the senior Last.fm.
