Consumer protection laws are in place to deal with any potential wrongdoing. Additionally, as the <a href="http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2007/06/broadband.shtm" rel="nofollow">report</a> notes, the FTC will continue to monitor the issue closely. <span class="mt-export2wp"></span> <i>"the FTC, for its part, will continue to devote substantial resources to maintaining competition and protecting consumers in the broadband area.
