I see your point. I have had Vista on my machine since June 26 2007. I remember that day because I was so happy to get my Vista, finally something new, finally I'm going to upgrade into the 21st century. Sadly, it was slow, sluggish, and running like a car with too much oil that hasn't been changed for more than a year (running heavy).

I did switch from Vista to XP and vice versa every 2 weeks to month. Now SP1 is out I haven't turned back to XP.

Vista, even on SP1, still has it's issues. But wasn't XP and XP SP1 the same way when they came out?

In the end, I like your article. I do believe that SP2 for XP made it what it is now, the perfect OS. Though XP will NEVER replace Vista, even in Vista SP2 or SP3, I do hope, along with you, that Vista's SP2 will perfect it.

Remember, it's takes practice to make perfect. MS was basically practicing with Vista after BETA. Now that they got the kinks, or some of them, the perfect Vista will be coming out.
