On another blog of mine I used MT since 2002, including being active in the development community. I kept current on upgrades - I must have gone through the process a dozen times. I am very technical but each time was a challenge that I managed to get through OK but I always thought about how much it would suck to not be technical and trying to upgrade MT.

I have been using Wordpress on various blogs for the last couple of years. It is night and day in terms of positive experience for me. I love Wordpress. There is an automatic upgrade plugin available that is absolutely unbelievable. I have done major release upgrade without this plugin and it was no big deal. With the plugin I have done minor release and point release upgrades and it was literly click a button and be upgraded in 1 minute. It was awesome.

I can't say enough good things about Wordpress. I don't know why anyone would use anything else.

And you are not moving over to Wordpress why? Before you mentioned there was things MT could do that Wordpress wouldn't - I doubt that MT4 is better than Wordpress the way it sounds now...
