*lol* it took you a long time to figure this out, once I ordered a MP3 player from a 3rd party Amazon vendor and I received a BRICK in the mail, Amazon didn't give a shite, they said it was between me and the vendor, a vendor that mysteriously disappeared after I received my BRICK.

Given it was a nice red brick it was hardly worth $200.

I'm very annoyed right now with Amazon's third-party system because lsst week (12/13) I ordered a DVD through a third party vendor, while at the same time ordering several items directly from Amazon. On the receipt e-mail I got, the direct items said "ship date estimate 12/18/07" and for the third-party item it also said "ship date estimate 12/18/07".

I figured I'd get everything this week--Amazon is usually very good about getting stuff to me within a few days. I haven't used third parties much, though--maybe twice before.

As of yesterday, I'd gotten all of the direct items, but I still hadn't gotten the third-party item. I e-mailed the seller and he e-mailed back that I had "misunderstood" Amazon's date, and that the item didn't go out until the 18th, and that delivery estimate was 4 to 14 days from now.

14 days? I would never have bought it if I thought I wouldn't get it until January 7th (which is the date he ended up giving me).

I'm especially peeved 'cause with the writer's strike I was counting on that DVD to keep me entertained (not withstanding your live show, Todd).
