As opposed to Microsoft cramming IE down my throat be forcing me to have it installed with their operating system?

For what it is worth: Safari is a great browser. Even on the PC it is better than IE. Yes, even better than IE 7.

Yeah I saw this one too on my PC the other night and thought that it was a tad cheeky. Spam software delivery nice one Apple pull your head in oh high and mighty ones.

[HONK-HONK] – This is just APPLE trying to propagate their software.

They do the same thing if you’re trying to grab their Quick Time player. They throw iTunes in there with it. I do think that they give you a choice now, but at one time they didn’t. Quick Time Player also used to take over the file formats without asking.

This is one of the reasons that I don’t use iTunes. MyPodder does what I need it to do for downloading podcast’s mp3 files – no matter the platform I plug the MP3 Player into. I want to look at the RSS feed for something, there’s a TON of choices for RSS feed readers..
