This is one of the exact reasons why I got off my Yahoo account. I had another email account that got locked out and they would not reinstate it until I could give the birth date I entered in the settings. When I signed up for that email in 1998, I don&#039;t remember if I even put in a birth date. I lost all email and communications from there.

My other Yahoo address is still open, but rarely used. I will not pay $$ just to download my email.
