Why would we develop a iPhone application for podcasting when Apple has already denied 2 others that were already developed for the Apple App Store/

Read the story that is linked on the word rejected above. Apple is being selective in approving applications. If I spend $10,000 on developing a iPhone Application and they deny it because it impacts something they are doing internally I loose my investment and time.

Not worth the risk!

Todd,
That's really too bad that you're not going to be on the iPhone platform. You'll be missing a huge opportunity there.
Have you heard the latest on the Google phone and it's huge security flow? Do you know why this security flaw is possible? It's due to it's openness nature. A rouge site can run code on the Google phone.
So sadly I and millions of other customers will not be able to check your application and it's not a good business to limit you exposure.
