While in Costco today I picked up a $99.00 EPIC Action Sports Video Cam. I wanted to use it as a cam I could wear during CES to help in capturing some of the Back Channel Video.
Well after testing it for about 15 minutes. I might as well throw this thing in the trash. The video is horribly grainy it reminds me of webcam quality 10 years ago. I had my son actually ride up and down the street with it on his bicycle and when we viewed it looked like a 70’s television picture when the reception was real bad.
I don’t often trash a product but in my opinion this has to be the most overhyped piece of equipment I have ever seen. It’s no wonder the manufacture did not even provide a screen shot of actual video taken with this thing.
My advice do not buy this piece of equipment. I will be returning mine to Costco.
