CES 2009 TwonkyMediaTwonkyMedia Manager allows you to share your media on compatible devices in your home. If you want to listen to a genre of music in a specific room you can have the media streamed to that specific device.

The TwonkyMedia Manager streams your music, video, photos to devices throughout your home.

The only question that I did not get a firm answer from the folks at TwonkyMedia was how many media devices they support. Reviewing their website I see any device bearing a UPnP or DLNA logo are streaming devices they support.

    Hi Todd,
I work for TwonkyMedia. The reason we can’t give you an exact number for the devices supported is because new compatible devices are coming out all the time — and we don’t always hear about them. Also, different devices have different rendering capabilities. An obvious example is that a digital photo frame is ‘compatible’ with TwonkyMedia manager — i.e., it can render your photos — but it obviously won’t play your high-def movies.

However, on our forum, you can find a list of the renderers that can be controlled by TwonkyMedia manager: http://www.twonkyforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=5960

    Hope that helps!
