Ford Park Assist is a dream come true for folks that have a hard time parallel parking. I sit in the back of the car as a first time user of the technology allows the car to park it self. While I did not get a chance to film the outside view of the car parking, I will say the parking space was a standard stall space and what surprised me the most was how easy it was to use.

Ford has Introduced Sync on Steroids for the Lincoln called My Lincoln Touch. It has all the features of Ford Sync but with a lot of extras that ultimately will end up in all Ford and Lincoln vehicles. I think you will find these new features very compelling. Makes me want to go out and buy a 2011 Lincoln.1

Ford has come up with a way to virtually build a car or at least make sure that it will be possible for the line installer to put in a part in the space allowed. This program has also been used to reduce on line injury rates. Whats really neat about this is that they can test new component installs and fully check ergonomics of the actual job action.

Ford has a virtual reality lab, where they can digitally mock up any vehicle in the inventory its called the programmable vehicle model. By using a one of a kind motion capture system they can determine exactly how test subjects interact with control surfaces withing the vehicle.

Ford is making it real easy for the construction worker. Ford has introduced technology in conjunction with DeWitt that tracks your tool inventory through RFID tags along with all the standard fleet features that track a trucks usage and maintenance records. You will never leave a job site without all your tools on-board again
