I am trying to extend my wifi in to my family room with the WN2000RPT. My router is in lower bedroom WN2000RPT is in my family room. All I can get is the power on light what can I do.

Best thing to do is to call Netgear we do not offer tech support sorry.
Did you press the “WPS” button on your router and then on the extender?
