Do you have the Backup Blues

I have been reluctant to purchase a commercial tape backup device. As thus far they have not been cheap enough to support my budget. Jeez I almost miss being able to back-up the entire system on a 250 meg tape. My BBS has nearly 300 gigs of shareware files that is sitting on a mechanical device. Backing that data up has been nearly impossible. My wife has a PC my children have PC's and I have a home and road machine this is data hell. What I resorted to was taking some older machines and threw every hard drive I had collecting dust an turn those machines into file servers. This has helped keep the absolutley critical files backed up, but I still have not tackled the shareware archive. I suppose some more hard-drives would solve the situation but it seems such a waste and I am on a budget also. If you are in the same situation I would love to her from you on what you are doing to solve your data backup needs.
