A reader of Geek News sent the following article to me. Some commentary from me first those of us here in Hawaii do not have many options when it comes to dish type TV networks. We rely on a over priced cable system that has a horrific selection of channels. I have a older analog box and I may upgrade to a digital box just so I can watch Tech TV but my wife does not want to spend the additional money as the cable bill is already through the roof. Also I do not condone using illegal methods to circumvent services that the majority of us pay for.
But the reader says this in the following article:
A much higher than average audience is interested in the upcoming Tyson
- Lewis heavyweight boxing match. http://espn.go.com/boxing/
Chat room chatter as well as message board posts are showing that a lot of people believe it will be an excellent time for satellite companies to attack pirate cards. I guess it would be a good time, but I wonder if they have something that can damage illegal cards? Why would they wait? AND if they are going to use it during a fight they probably know that MANY fights have been OVER in the first round. Maybe the smarter pirates will skip the first few minutes and tune into chat rooms to find out if the sky is falling.
