Is AIM spying on You

I am a old school die hard that bashes AOL every chance I get. But this article is a defnite read if you use the AOL Instant Messenger. (Editors Choice is ICQ)

Hrm...seems like kinda a deceptive subject line there.

The linked text file clearly states that the risk lies in an AIM wrapper called AIM+. It's not "AIM spying on you", it's an add-on. I also don't see what benefit AIM+ provides you, so if you install it you do so at your own risk. But don't blame AOL just because someone creates a tool that utilizes their program.

Note, you can't even "bash" AOL for this one, it's not their fault. It pays to be wary in these days of spyware and trojans.

Your partially correct but a lot of people add this add on's without the knowledge that they are not produced by AOL and are designed by a thirs party. Thanks for the comment though will try and insure headline is more accurate.
