Computer case Noise driving you Nuts

Most of my computers sit in a office I call the cave. It really isn't a cave but the name is a hold over from a time when I actually had my servers stashed in a closet at my prior ISP. We called it the cave as I would disappear for hours in that closet to work and also surf the net at T-3 speeds. Anyway now the majority of my servers and computers are in a room attached to my kitchen. This site runs from a web hosting company as I have my connection maxed out from my other projects. Anyway my wife is always bitching at me on how noisy the computers are.. I always shrugged it off. This was until the power went out for 18 hours and we lost the generator after about 5 hours and when the silence in the room hit me I realized how noisy the computers actually were. Anyway I found this hilarious site that shows what a little Yankee ingenuity can accomplish with some very high tech insulation products. His unique noise reduction solution is amazing. :)
