Portable Credit Card Readers stealing your Info!

Thanks to Techdirt for the link to the following article which really got me thinking. Apparently the latest scam on the street are that crooks are using Credit Card Readers to scan cards and then create fake cards. This allows them to charge to their hearts content.

All I can think of now is that Credit Cards will soon be issued and you will be required to enter a pin before it can be authorized when making a purchase. [New York Times]

Think I will really start paying attention each time my card is swiped.
