Do not call 429,000 complaints in nearly a year

Seems telemarketers have largely ignored the do not call list. With nearly 65 million people who have signed up for do not call 429,000 have received at least 1 call and that's just the people that reported it. Seems the FCC could cash in if they would go out and collect the fines but some wonder if they have the teeth.

One advantage of living in Hawaii is most telemarketers don't bother but those that do usually call about 4am and when you get done screaming at them asking them if they know what time it is you never get a call back. [CNN Money]

I live in California and I got a call a few days ago at 6:30am! I was all asleep and confused and whatnot, but the really sad thing is that I didn't realize just how early it was until I was already hanging up and I saw the clock. I would have liked to point out how early it was.
