Double Authenticated Logins a smart move by AOL

In a move that will prove popular to those worried about identity theft or simply keeping their accounts secure AOL has introduced a dual authentication login.

"Subscribers get a matchbook-size device from RSA Security Inc. displaying a six-digit code that changes every minute. The code is necessary to log on, so a scammer who guesses or steals a password cannot access the account without the device in hand."

I have seen these things in action before and wish my bank and some of the services I access on the net had the added security feature. I would happily pay the monthly surcharge. [Goupstate.com]
