The term Podcasting was but a blimp on the Net scope up to a month ago but in the last couple of weeks there has started to be a ground swell. I predict it will turn into a absolute tidal wave here in the next month and everyone that is even remotely net connected will understand the term. Developers are racing to improve the current clunky interfaces and I predict within 90 days we will see a commercial product launched that has all of the tools built in and makes it simple for the average Joe to begin Podcasting.
