Today's Showcase site is: pjorge.com a personal blog, Pedro says the site is in Spanish, so it may be of limited interest for an American audience it's about everything and nothing. I write about whatever interest me at the moment. It may be a movie, a book, a site, a program, Java, podcasting, Biology, Japanese (I am trying to learn) almost anything, actually, even the stuff I do towards my PhD.

However, I rarely blog about my work (I translate science fiction novels –I am especially proud of my version of Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon). I like Geek News Central a lot –a superb site for technology oriented information- and I follow the podcast (great for listening at the supermarket –today I was pondering that MP3 player decision in front of the cookies aisle; I am trying to figure which one to buy too). The influence is quite clear, because right now I am planning to do some podcasting of my own.
