Perpetual lack of sleep

Seems technology has been the cause of being sleep deprived for 20 years. It started in 1985 when I was heavy into the BBS scene, I could not learn enough, and spent hours surfing the boards. Then I did the stupid thing and opened one up. Not only that I did it in a big way having a multi-line system. Then the Internet struck and not to be deterred I moved my BBS to the net and at it's peak we had 65,000 registered active users. Between the Operating System and BBS Software itself, I spent countless hours literally working in a closet of the ISP we had our server hosted at. Heck I had a key to the place and spent more time there than home.

Then things relaxed for a couple of years and weblogs was a minor blip. I then found myself staying up late listening to Art Bell, luckily Hawaii has enough of a time difference that it did not have that much of an impact.

But right now I feel like it's 1985 again, podcasting has me busier than I have been in years. So how many of you are finding it harder to push the keyboard away.

I know its not just me, when I am getting instant messages from people on the east coast at 11pm HST making it 4am EST, I am not alone.
