Hey, Todd,
I enjoy your show, not only is it great to listen to, but my coworkers hear and think I'm much smarter than they are. (hahaha) Anyway, I was listening today and your comments with regard to credit card "practices" as far as signing, reminded me of a funny situation. I used to be an Assisstant Manager for a large, regional drugstore chain in the Mid-Atlantic area. While working in the Flagship store one day, I was on the register helping out when a customer handed me a card and the name on it was Santa A. Claus. So I took a closer look at the Gentleman....5'4", chubby, balding, white hair, long, white beard......So I asked for ID. He had the nerve to be mad. He even contacted the Owner/CEO of the chain and complained that I "made an unreasonable request for him to prove his identity." I did not get in trouble, naturally, since it is an acceptable practice to ask for ID with a Credit Card, but who knew that Santa uses Visa? The funny thing is, that the guy was one of two customers of that location that were LEGALLY named Santa Claus....Middle initials different... Be well!
