Washington Post closes comments on Blog Website

Seems the Washington Post Blog has heated up to the point with attacks and comments that editors consider unacceptable that they have closed the comment section. People are not very happy with it either and consider the action as a method to stifle comments.

My reaction is if you think their needs to be a way to provide feedback to the Washington Post start your on website dedicated to commenting on articles or stories. If your blog is good enough it will gain instant appeal and you will become a blogging star overnight. But it is to bad their social experiment did not work out for them. [Washington Post]
