I have seen this screen a few times and did not realize it was the Mac equivalent of a BSOD. Which the only one I have seen in recent years was when I had a hard drive failure several months ago. [Flickr]

It's a computer. All crash but in 4 years and 2 ibooks, I have only seen that screen once.

I had a few problems with this. The Azureus java app and Majestic12, a mono app crash my computer.. I think the java issue was solved; but I don't run Majestic on my desktop anymore.
