Sony Music wants loggers to promo videos, music

Is Sony smoking crack, do they realize that they still have to step up and apologize to the community for their actions and their PR mistake of not stepping up and saying that they are sorry for all the harm they caused and continue to cause with the Root kit debacle that earned Sony a five year product buying ban in my household.

They want logger no to promote a new site which I will not do directly. CENT has a statement in their piece that made me smile.

"Sony will also actively encourage fan sites and bloggers--who are mostly used to receiving cease-and-desist letters from studios--to link to the material."

I'm sorry but Sony is going to have to do something big to kiss and make up to those of us that understand ramifications of their actions. Meanwhile I continue to have my self imposed Boycott of Sony products much to the irritation of my Japanese Spouse. [CNET]
